Give me a call, drop me a note and we can catch up and go through things. There are certain legalities of the day, which I mostly take care of, and a lot of fun and personality to add to the day - which is where you get to have fun.

Well, it all depends on what's involved. I will cater a ceremony and package just for you.
You may want to meet in person prior; you may need me to travel out of town (or overseas!); you may need me to MC or assist with scripting the reception formalities. I can do as little or as much as you need.
My fee starts at $850 incl GST, but this can be adjusted (up and down!) depending on what is needed by you.

Absolutely. I can help with a naming ceremony for a baby, house or boat. Vow renewals are also a favourite of mine, and it would be an honour to be a funeral celebrant for your loved one.

You need vows, but don't stress - I have plenty on hand you can chop and change and we can make sure they are perfect for you.
Absolutely you can write your own! But if you need a hand, I have plenty of suggestions.

Most ceremonies go for about 30 minutes, from when the bride walks down the aisle to when you leave as a married couple.

I also ways do my best to fit in, and not clash (or match!) the bridal party. We'll talk colours prior and I'll make sure it fits in with your wedding theme.

No. Think of your soon-to-be spouse waiting for you, as well as all the guests. It can also throw out the timing for the photographer, catering, music. You don't want to miss out on any of the day!

You typically need three pieces of music - one to walk down the aisle to, one for when you are signing the documents, and one for when you leave.
I find it is best to choose your favourite songs - the certainly don't have to be traditional.

Absolutely. I'll have a printed copy of EVERYTHING in case your readers forget their copy.

Yes - absolutely. The last thing you need is a shower of rain (or gale) to create mayhem. It's always best to be safe than sorry (or sopping wet!)

Our kiwi summers can get very hot. It's always a great idea to have a bit of shade, water on hand for everyone. and another reason not to leave everyone waiting too long.

A wedding does not have to be traditional. It has to be a reflection of you, and a day you will want to remember for the rest of your lives. Laughter, fun and a relaxed format is often what everyone remembers.

It's always a good idea, but if it's logistically not possible don't worry - I'm good at prompting people at the rights times and making sure everything happens when and where it should.
